Kayla starting her culinary career working and learning from many well-known local chefs of Western North Carolina. She continued to learn many different styles of southern cuisine and developed a passion for pastries. She quickly became a sous chef of the gateway club for three years. While at the gateway club Kayla won many awards and recognition for entrees and desserts.
